well it was really cold this morning and the first ice on the car this winter......I am so glad that I don't have to go out......time for more painting I think

I actually managed some painting today and did four totally differing styles.

had a busy few days with shopping and the final meeting with Age Concern. We have now quit and there will be no more typing, note taking or hard work...someone else can have all the stress now....lol....

Not had a lot of time to paint, but hope to start catching up now.....

I managed to get three aceos painted today and here they are

I actually managed to get some painting done today. It is strange how sometimes you just splash paint on a piece of card and within minutes you have a great painting....then other times you can sit for hours and not be happy with the results. That happened to two of my paintings today....and I managed a third one....I won't tell you which one worked straight away and which one didn't....lol....

Haven't done any painting today as we needed to fill up the new freezer......I love the idea that I don't have to ever defrost this one....defrosting a freezer is a messy job....one less to do now.

I did my last lot of notes typing for Age Concern today.....thank goodness that is over and done with....my hands ache. Volunteering is good but hard work....Someone else needs to take over now....24/7 is not what I had imagined it would be...

this week I have tried to paint some larger works. I am so used to working tiny paintings, I found it very difficult but here is the first one...painted in acrylic paints on A4 paper....

Tax returns all done and sent off for another year....I am SO grateful to my friend Stewart who does them for us....I am not sure that I would know where to start...

Now to get on with the painting....

we have just had a thunderstorm and there are 2 inches of hailstones outside...the ground is white !!!

I am so disappointed with Folksy.....the sales on there haven't been good since last November when they changed all their settings but I have hung on hoping for things to improve.

I decided that as Christmas is looming I would give it an all our last go.....

The listing fee on Folksy is 18p which is 6p  more than etsy but Folksy is UK based and I reeally have a soft spot for it. SO I went to list this morning and it refused to download my photo....I kept getting the message..."Photo error".....after about 20 attempts...I decided that someone was trying to tell me something....so listed the painting on etsy instead...just 12p...and no problems with exactly the SAME picture.....so yet ANOTHER glitch on Folksy....such a shame...
