It has been a busy old week one way and another......the kitchen fluorescent tube started flashing and I can't see what I am cooking right now...ha ha...my daughter claims that it makes no difference as I burn everything anyway !

It has been a very busy week...not much time for painting but I have plodded on with a few 8x6 watercolours and some acrylic box canvases.
I also did a watercolour for hubby to donate to a local hospital raffle in aid of cancer.
I just hope that whoever wins it doesn't put it in the bin.....

Last week I decided to play with Mixed media art. I created this box canvas using acrylics, then I sprayed with Mica paints and added some hand painted thick acrylic flowers.
Once dry I painted the flowers and made some paper flowers and glitter.
I finished the whole thing off with some shop bought butterflies....Here is the finished canvas...now available in my folksy shop
