This week, I decided that it was time to tackle acrylics, head on !! I get in such a mess with them. More paint on my hands and clothes than on the paper. I have quite a stash of canvas paper which is not suitable for watercolours and I decided that it was time to use some of it. Canvas paper tends to soak up the paint, which is why it is best for acrylics or oils. I did these two this week. Both are 7" x 5" and have a small framed edge that has been left unpainted ready for framing.

another week gone by and one step nearer to the Autumn,
For once, it has been quite a nice summer and we have all enjoyed some sunshine. Today looks like being another fairly nice day too.

I have been quite busy painting this last week and sales on ebay are going well. I also had sales on etsy and one on Folksy....so I am quite pleased with the way things are going.

sales have been very good on ebay for a few weeks, thanks to a lovely gentleman who is collecting my art.
Etsy has been quite good as well but sadly Folksy is lagging behind. Hopefully Folksy will pick up again soon

we had torrential rain over the weekend....I am so glad that I paint as having to stay in could be boring otherwise....
