Well, what a beautiful day. I went shopping without my coat on and I was still warm....fabulous.....the warmest February day that I can remember.....let's hope there are many more days like this, to make up for the lack of last year's summer..

The mist is beginning to clear and I can just about see the sea today......at least no ice or that SN** stuff.

Back in the clouds again today....can't even see down the road.....
I was hoping to paint but ended up doing something else....sigh...

A beautiful day outside today...the sun shone all day and we had all the windows open....
I managed to get two aceos painted......then we had a visit from my Uncle, so no more done now until tomorrow.

Day three in the clouds with no sign of the sunshine......still.....better than snow......
I managed to get 5 more aceos painted today....
I am on a daily listing club on etsy so that is 7 per week that I need and then I list 5-6 a week on ebay, and then Folksy as well, so I need to keep painting...

Thursday

went shopping to Swansea today....only bought a bar of coconut ice....yummy.......
There were lots of nice paints for sale but I have loads already and I resisted the temptation !!!

another very wet and damp day....so the only thing left is to paint.

So far I have done 4 aceos, making 9 this week already.....keeping up with my challenge

Tuesday

Went shopping today and got soaked in that horrid wet misty rain.....the rain was icy too...not nice.
Started two paintings but have yet to finish them......hopefully they will be completed before I go to bed

Monday

managed to get 3 aceos painted today. All of them are fantasy ones....lots of purple. I have about 37 landscapes ready for listing and not many fantasy ones, so I decided to increase my stock of the make believe ones.....

Sunday

Another nice lie in today and then had to get dinner. It has been quite mild outside today and we have had a bit of sunshine too.....The daffodils are almost in bloom ready for St. David's day....I love the spring and all the beautiful green shoots peeping through the ground

Today, I decided to do a cartoon for the Welsh challenge on Folksy....
I haven't done any cartoons for a while, so this was fun....

this week I found a great website   http://www.willowing.org/  the lady who runs it does fabulous folk art and beautiful collage and faces. Worth checking out.
I didn't do any painting today as I had my other hat on...being a trustee for Age Concern...we had our new launch and had a radio dj come down and do the opening ceremony for us....free refreshments...yay !!

I sold two more paintings today...one to a lady in Russia...that's a FIRST for me.....truly an international artist now...lol....
I also ordered some new business cards from Vistaprint...ones with an artist's palette logo......

Today I did three aceos and I don't like any of them....never mind....tomorrow I will either alter them or paint over them....For a change...here is an encaustic painting that I did in 2009

Monday

Yesterday, I started a larger monochrome woodland scene but didn't like the way it was turning out. This morning I had to make the decision on where to scrap it or paint over it. I decided to paint in some extra trees and I think I will be able to save it.
It is now drying and waiting for the finishing touches...I hope I can save it.

well another weekend is here...and it has been a beautiful day here is South Wales.....we went shopping and I wasn't cold at all.....in fact I was warm...the sun shone all day and we had blue skies....
Obviously the place to live....
I managed to get two more aceos done this afternoon which is great and brings my total this week to 19 !!

Friday

Well once again we have NO SNOW....we have been SO lucky....just damp and drizzle....
I spent most of the morning taking pictures of my paintings and downloading them onto the pc...it takes quite a time to do that, then crop them for listing...putting them on flickr and then putting them into the groups that I belong to....I sometimes think that this takes longer than actually painting them !!!

Thursday....one day nearer the weekend....and my nice Saturday lie in......
So far this week I have done 14 paintings...only one to go to reach my 15 a week target.....
It has just turned cold....some of Wales is forecast snow but I am hoping it won't come this far....none showing up in the local forecast...

Wednesday

today the sun is shining after a cold icy start. There is still ice on my car but it is always the last to defrost as it is shaded from the sun until the afternoon.

Last night, I managed to paint a 7x5 acrylic painting on Winsor and Newton Canvas board....

Well the threatened snow never arrived. We have just had rain, although it is very cold.

Went to town and it seemed a little bit warmer today......
Had beans on toast in a cafe and a nice cuppa.
I hope to do some more painting later but right now the sun is glaring in my eyes and I can't see even though I am wearing my daughter's baseball cap....lol...

another cold day, so I was glad to stay home and do some painting. I managed to get 4 aceos done.
Sales seem to be going well which pleases me.....
I hope to soon be starting a lot of larger paintings....I will always do aceos but there are some people who might like a painting large enough to hang on their wall.
